Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actor who is most well known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her first appearance in 2003, she has proven her ability in the role of actress with amazing performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7, and Under the Dome. The first time she was noticed was in 2005 due to her role as Anna which was featured as part of Assault on Precinct 13 The film was primarily for her portrayal of women's liberation activist Fannie Louis Hamer from the documentary film All the Way, which gave her the respect she deserved as an actress. Hind received praise for portraying Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. The series was renewed for a third series with 20th Century Fox Television. Hind has recently completed filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that will release in the middle of 2019. The father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist, who died in March of 2017. Her mother Vrinda was a homemaker. She has an older brother Aditya Rai, who is a merchant navy engineer. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the film Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir, Mumbai was the place where her parents been living since they moved there. Her lucrative jobs in PepsiCo Inc. & Vogue magazine and her spokesmodel agreement with L'Oreal Paris were all rewarded in 2003. Her acting career got off in a positive direction with her highly acclaimed roles on Iruvar (1997) and Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan rose to prominence in her role in the New Bollywood because both films changed the Bollywood film structure on its head. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the lover who was betrayed in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's biggest successes. It also was the first movie to be shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher Bali (2003) was the next film in which she won acclaim. The film is a suspense that is based on Rabindranath tagore's novel. That same year she served as the only Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan played featured in Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This ballet and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. Bachchan was able to bring both her glam power and her beauty to her most acclaimed English film. Following the release of Provoked: A True Story in English, she returned to Bollywood and appeared in the blockbuster Dhoom: 2 (2007). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star and daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most powerful people to one another.
