Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter was born July 23 in 1970. She was Cordelia Chase in the supernatural drama show Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1999), and the spin-off series Angel (1999–2004). She also starred alongside Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablancas (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012 strong>

 



 

  Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada) as the daughter Christine Carpenter who was a bird sanctuary worker,and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter is of Spanish (from her maternal grandfather), French, and German descent. Carpenter was one of the students at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. [6] She also was a part of a song and dance troupe which performed in the Las Vegas Valley when Carpenter was just nine years old.

 



 

  Carpenter, then 15, moved with her family to Rosarito Beach in Baja California, Mexico [2] and later to San Diego, California. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. 2] [failed verification] Following her graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. She returned to San Diego and worked in the video store as an aerobics instructor, as well as property management. In 1991, she was employed as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team in 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles.

 



 

  When she was swimming in San Diego in 1991, she and two male buddies were slain by Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex- San Diego police officer and serial rapist, who attempted to subdue them with a gun. During the struggle the two friends as well as Hubbard were killed, forcing him to flee the scene and both of them survived the attack. Hubbard was detained, found guilty and sentenced to 56 years in prison for a string of rapes and robberies. Carpenter grabbed Hubbard's flashlight an official police flashlight, off the beach. The flashlight was left at the scene. The flashlight was the most important evidence against Hubbard.

 



 

  Carpenter was named No. Carpenter was No. 31 on the AskMen's Top 99 Desirable Women 2002[30]. 44 on their list for 2005. It was a wise financial decision. I also believed it was the right thing for me. My son was only born and I'd gained 50 pounds in the course of my pregnancy. I wanted to look like my former self. I wanted to feel desirable and sexy. I was thinking: "What if you went completely sexy?"
